- Two goalies, two sample sizes — Thompson twelve tagged games, Lindgren fifteen. One goal moves Lindgren’s overall save % by about .003.
- No single game carries his rates — 04.05 vs NYR (8 GA on 30 shots) holds 16% of his goals, and excluding it he is .884 overall.
- Baseline (“NHL pool”) = the other NHL goalies we track — 2,005 shots, includes backups — not a league average. Thompson’s rows always exclude his own shots from the pool.
